Working Title "Vertraute Ferne"

Dokumentary (in progress)

Three young Austrians are about to leave their homes, families and friends for a whole year to serve others: They start their civil service in a Franciscan monastary - in the phenomenal landscape of Zambia, Africa. So far, so straight. But the story is not only about those three: the documentary's director, Andreas Wolfger was a civil servant at the mission press project himself. His return to Zambia suddenly puts a lot of things in new perspectives, as he tries to find new meaning after being lost in the endless possibilites of our generation.
